Independent Anti Slavery Commissioner’s letter on the NRM

Kevin Hyland, Independent Anti Slavery Commissioner has written to Sarah Newton MP calling for change and reform to the UK’s National Referral Mechanism (NRM). The letter includes recommendations for improving the identification, referral and support for victims of modern slavery.

We’ve broken through the 40,000 signatures barrier! A huge thank you to you, our wonderful Purple Teardrop Campaign supporters for achieving this.

More than 40,000 people say ‘No!’ to sex for sale advertising. However, we need a further 60,000 signatures to force a parliamentary debate on this issue. Can you help us reach this target?

Theresa May has said that modern slavery is the great human rights issue of our time so it’s imperative society demands a stop to sex for sale ads – how traffickers ‘market’ women and girls trafficked into prostitution.
